The Korean quarantine authority has announced that the requirement for wearing masks indoors will be changed from "mandatory" to "recommended" as of January 30, 2023. However, masks will still be required in high-risk indoor locations such as public transportation, medical facilities, and pharmacies.
Mask required locations: Public transportation (bus, taxi, subway, train, airplane, cruises, etc.), medical facilities, pharmacy, high-risk infection area, etc.
